Confused about how your high school GPA is calculated? Here are the steps that are taken to determine your semester cumulative GPA:

• Each letter grade is associated with a numeric grade value (see the chart below)

• Multiply each numeric grade value by the number of credits the course was worth

• Add these numbers together = GPA Points

• Divide the GPA Points by the total number of credits you took = GPA
